Wolf-Rayet 134 (the slightly reddish star just below center) and surrounding nebulosity). The orange shell around this star is gas and dust being blown outwards by the intense radiation and stellar wind generated by the star. 134 lies about 6000 light years from Earth. While only about 5 times larger than our own sun, its luminosity is over 400,000 times that of our home star. 134 resides in the constellation of Cygnus.
